Jobella Cabanting was born in the Philippines. When she was 4 years old, her family moved to Saudi Arabia and resided there for 3 years. Introducing her to diversity and multiculturalism at an early age helped her build a love in connecting with people. At the age of 18, Jobella and her mother immigrated to the United States and have lived in the Bay Area since then.
Jobella has been in the customer service industry for 14 years. Her first job in the US, as a new immigrant, was at Panda Express as a counter assistant. She worked her way up to becoming a training leader. In a span of 8 years, she managed more than 6 locations, hired and trained more than 20 associates, and promoted chefs, assistant managers, and general managers.
Through that experience, Jobella learned the value of hard work and perseverance. Her journey from an entry level Counter Help with no experience in the United States to training and coaching Managers has made her a firm believer that you can achieve anything you set your mind to in this land of opportunity.
After her journey in Panda Express, Jobella became a Relationship Manager and Lending Specialist at Bank of America. Because of her passion in helping others, clients have trusted her to manage their financial portfolio. Being a Lending Specialist allowed her to be a part of the joy and excitement of her clients finding their new home, and eventually motivated her to take on a bigger role in what is oftentimes the biggest financial decision of one’s life.
Jobella has now been involved in the Real Estate industry for the past 4 years. First in banking, then as an investor, and now as a Real Estate agent, helping clients make the best decisions with her knowledge in lending and the Bay Area housing market.
When she’s not thinking about Real Estate, you can find her with a cup of coffee in one hand and a Karaoke Mic in the other. Her favorite hobby is to search for good places to eat all over the Bay with her husband, Albert and her daughter, Jhia. And learning how to say “Thank You” in all languages.
Next time you see her, make sure to say “Hi!” and give her your best restaurant recommendation.
